Earthquake
Types of Earthquake
A.Volcanic Earthquakes
Not all volcanoes behave in the same way. Much depends on
the silica content of the magma itself. A low silica (under 55 percent)
produces a free flowing basic magma which is very hot and from
which gases usually escape quiet easily.
B. Tectonic Earthquakes
It is when two tectonic plates suddenly move against each
other , earthquake occurs. Earthquake usually happen along
faults. The plate on each side of a fault grinds against each
other with tremendous force.
